step 1:insert the windows vista os dvd and boot it
step 2: choose repair ur computer and choose next and choose command prompt
step 3:now in command prompt
type the following
diskpart and press enter
and type
select disk 0 and press enter
step 4:then type
list partition
and press enter
your partitions are now will be listed
step 5:select the partition where u have installed windows
eg generally if u install it in c(partition 1): then
type select partition 1
and press enter
step 6:
now type
active
step 7:that's all Reboot ur windows and now u can able to boot in windows
